Code of Ethics
As a member of the OCLA, we pledge to uphold this CODE OF ETHICS and recognize the responsibility and authority to
enforce this Code of Ethics Contract as a requisite for membership.
As a member of the OCLA, we commit to these principles and standards:
1. We will uphold the highest professional standards of integrity, honesty, and fairness.
2. We will continually strive to better the industry by participating in and promoting education and professionalism.
3. We will promote the spirit of all applicable fair housing laws in order to achieve Equal Housing opportunities for all.
4. We will properly maintain and safeguard all property under our care, to minimum property standards of the appropriate
governing authority.
5. We will respect the rights of others by preserving and enhancing private property rights and the free enterprise system.
6. We will promote compliance with all federal, state and local laws and regulations pertaining to our industry.
7. We will function cooperatively with other organizations involved in the rental housing industry.
